Our house is not only great for summer holidays, but its pretty perfect at any time of the year. It's a great base for a golfing, cycling, surfing or sightseeing holiday and, having 3 bathrooms, is well suited to couples or families sharing; From April to October you can still enjoy fabulous weather and make the most of cheaper rental prices and cheaper flights.

We have shops and bars nearby but are also right next to open pine forests (2 mins walk) where you can stroll or cycle in the sun listening to the sound of birds. The forest is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and charming. La Loma has beautifully landscaped gardens where you can relax with a drink.

Beach

We are 10 min stroll from unspoiled golden sand beaches that stretch for miles, you can find a beach to suit everyone; from teeny coves to wide open sands. A sunworshipper's paradise, from April onwards, and right up til mid October you'll still get temperatures in the mid 80s. You can reach the beach via a lovely walk through the woods or use well lit roads and pavements.


Golfing Holidays

If you have a passion for golf, come with your golfing buddies and make the most of Novo Sancti Petri’s fantastic golf course, 3 mins drive away. The new Loma Golf course is now open right next to La Loma, a 3 min walk away. It has received good reviews in the golfing press and is a well designed course with lakes and water hazards set around the pine trees. It has a clubhouse open to all. The 9 hole Campano golf is about 7 mins drive away. The renowned Montenmedio course near the white village of Vejer is about half hour drive away.


Sightseeing

Seville and Jerez are best enjoyed out of peak season when there are less crowds; Visit Seville , Jerez or Cadiz during their many fiestas (mostly March-May - check exact dates on the internet) and find out how to really party! Then there's the white villages of Vejer, Arcos perching on the cliff edges, the ancient town of Medina Sidonia, the list goes on....

Surfing
You can surf at the local beach, best time of year is October to March; also El Palmar is well known for surfing and there are several surf schools. Check websites for information.


Cycling

There are cycle paths all around; as well as tracks through the pine forests and the pretty coastal roads towards Roche and Conil. More experienced cyclists may want to ride to Jerez and explore the countryside at leisue. Bike hire is available locally; also quad bikes.


Although the town is much quieter out of peak season, there are still plenty of bars and restaurants open.

Chiclana and Conil have permanent local populations; both have fantastic local markets; Conil is an absolutely charming seaside town with its cobbled streets and golden sands.

Jerez: 40 mins drive, easy motorway. Ryanair from UK (Stansted) and Hahn (Germany).
CURRENT SUMMER PRICES ARE CHEAPER EASYJET TO GIBRALTAR THAN RYANAIR TO JEREZ, EASYJET ALSO DO MORNING FLIGHTS:
Gibraltar: Easyjet and GB Airways from UK. (Gatwick) An excellent alternative if Jerez flights are expensive. Under an hours’ drive thanks to new A381 motorway linking Algeciras to Chiclana; a very pleasant route bordered by mountainous scenery and little traffic. Walk through from airport 500 metres to La Linea for car hire at Crown (english and spanish speaking). Very easy.
Seville: 1.5 hours, motorway, easy drive. Ryanair from UK (Stansted, Liverpool), Ireland (Dublin) , Germany (Dusseldorf, Frankfurt) & Milan, Pisa, Barcelona)
We may be flexible on changeover days depending how they fit with bookings, please ask. Outside Mid June-end Aug we can take 'daily rate' bookings of 6 nights upwards, please enquire.
