About the Costa de la Luz Spain
The Costa de la Luz (the coast of light) in Andalucia southern Spain includes the provinces of Huelva & Cadiz. Away from the hustle and bustle of the Costa del Sol it has been left unspoilt by mass tourism and the locals are all very welcoming. The whole of the Costa de la Luz is a breath of fresh air compared to the usual developments associated with Spain. It has been developed on a more human scale than the Costa del Sol and local towns and resorts retain their Spanish culture and character.
The beaches of the are of fine golden and white sands and are probably the best in Spain. Deep and wide, stretching for miles they don't suffer the high rise development of so many tourist resorts, fantastic if you want a relaxing holiday as you will always find a peaceful spot.
If you want to spend your holiday in a Spanish part of Spain then the costa de la luz is the place to come. The area is great for a sporty holiday with surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and golf courses all available. It is also a great area for cultural holidays with the beautiful 'White Villages' and cities like Cadiz and Seville catering for people looking for a short city break.
